Endless Curiosity

Praveen Sherman
I have met people from different walks of life, Businessmen, Sales Executives, Software professionals, home makers, students and many many other people as well, both young and old. I remember many of them remarking I am not able to go towards what I want I am too late. They say ‘I want to start my business, but I am too old’. ‘I want to go back to school and learn more.. but I am too old’ And so on and on… and these are certain chains that hold people back for a long time. And it is never too late. At every possible age I hear people saying “I should done this 10 years back” and so on.. This mindset if highly self destructive. These just happen in an instant and are reinforced for years. I give an analogy here. In a restaurant there was a couple in their thirties dining and chatting about the list of things that they missed out as they were young. The adjacent table was occupied by yet another couple in their forties. And coincidentally they were also discussing the various things that they missed as they were young. And incidentally both remarked the same statements “If we were 10 years younger we would done that”. This cycle lasts forever. You may tell yourself “I wish I had done this few years ago” and you will be saying the same few years later as well. This is an ENDLESS CURIOSITY. Do not put a time or a limit to your goals. Live it up. Live LIFE
